Production Engineering Department study an MSc thesis

An MSc thesis in Production and Metallurgy Engineering Department at University of Technology discussed a study of (the effect of changing the voltage values ​​in the electric spark cutting process on the material removal rate, electrode corrosion rate, surface roughness and the operating factor).

The researcher Anwar Qassem Abdel Nabi, in the field of Production engineering, conducted operation on 27 samples of stainless steel (ASI 444).

Then, the experiments were designed and analyzed using the factorial design method, which was carried out using the MINITAB 19 program. The results showed that the material removal rate, electrode corrosion rate and surface roughness increase with the increase the values ​​of the voltages used.
