Electromechanical Eng. Dept. Grants a Master Degree to Sura Hamdi Hassan 

Electromechanical Eng. Dept.  at  U.O.T. granted  the student / Sura  Hamdi Hassan a master degree in the field of Energy Engineering for her entitled thesis:-

( Experimental Validation of a smart Greenhouse Power by Solar Energy System )

The thesis dealt with the design of a smart greenhouse that relies entirely on clean solar energy to provide it with the electrical energy needed to operate its parts. Several systems were added, including the solar tracking system, the ventilation system, the solar water heater system, the traditional cooling system for the house, the solar panel cooling system, and an integrated control system for the house.

The study reached several results, the most important of which is reducing the temperature inside the house by 12 degrees Celsius, maintaining the highest polarization of solar radiation during daylight hours, and reducing the temperature of the solar panel by about ten degrees Celsius, which led to maintaining the efficiency of the solar panel.
