Laser Engineering and Optoelectronics Department organize a workshop entitled great women in Mesopotamia
The Women's Empowerment Unit in Laser Engineering and Optoelectronics Department at the University of Technology organized a workshop entitled (Great Women in Mesopotamia).
The workshop lectures' were given by Assist. Prof. Dr. Aseel Abdul- Amir Shaghati.
The workshop highlighted the status of women in the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia and her great role in the Babylonian, Akkadian, and Sumerian civilizations. It also reviewed the most important queens of Mesopotamia, such as Shebaad and Semiramis, and their most important achievements in governance, urbanization, and cities' development
