Electrical Engineering Department holds a scientific visit to Operation and Control Department

As part of the series of scientific activities of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology and the fruitful interaction with the state ministries and departments, the department held a scientific visit for fourth-year students in the electrical engineering branch to the Operation and Control Department at the Ministry of Electricity, under the supervision of a number of department professors.

  The students were briefed on the work of the Operations and Control Department and the departments and units of the National Control Center. In addition to learning about the reality of the Iraqi national network in light of the network’s actual load requirements. As well as dealing with increased demand for energy, addressing bottlenecks in the network, and dealing with malfunctions that may occur. The students were received by the Director General of the Operations and Control Department and a number of engineers working in the department.

  At the end of the visit, the students expressed their thanks and appreciation for the efforts made to make the visit a success in support of scientific communication between the university and state institutions.
