The Women's Empowerment Unit organize a workshop on successful women in society between work and home

                                                            

The Women’s Empowerment Unit in Electromechanical Engineering Department at the University of Technology, in cooperation with the Oil and Gas Equipment Engineering Branch, organized a workshop entitled Successful Women in Society between Work and Home at Al-Kindi Hall, with the participation of the Head of the Oil and Gas Equipment Engineering Branch, Prof. Dr. Raheq Ismail Ibrahim, and the Head of the Electromechanical Systems Engineering Branch, Assist. Prof. Dr. Israa Saad, in the presence of the head of the Women’s Unit at the University of Technology and a number of the department’s faculty staff, employees and students.

The workshop delivered by the head of the women’s empowerment unit in the department, Assist. Prof. Asifa Mahdi and Assist. Lec. Lamia Hussein.

And it is aimed to share the success story of the women of the Electromechanical Engineering Department in society in light of social norms and traditions.

The workshop included several pivotal, including how to achieve success for these women despite the difficulties and obstacles they faced along the way, and what qualities they share regardless of their circumstances, suffering, color, or the place they grew up in, motivating and encouraging women and celebrating their excellence, and encouraging successful women to take initiative by publishing their success stories to share with people.

  The Head of the Systems Engineering Branch and the Head of Oil and Gas Equipment Engineering participate their success stories, despite the obstacles these women promoted to high professional positions in the field of engineering. Their stories not only demonstrate exceptional flexibility in overcome the obstacles and cultural barriers, but also highlight the support they provide to women.
