Communications Engineering Department hold a celebration for obtaining first place in the national classification among the corresponding Iraqi university departments

Communications Engineering Department at the University of Technology held a celebration on the occasion of its obtaining first place in the national classification over all corresponding departments in Iraqi universities. The celebration was held under the patronage of the Department Head, Assist. Prof. Afanin Anwar Abood, Scientific Deputy, Prof. Dr. Ali Jabbar Salim, Administrative Deputy, Prof. Dr. Qusay Saiem Tawfiq

The celebration was attended by President Assistant of Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Mohammed Othman, Prof. Dr. Jawad Kahdim Ali, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Jabbar Khalaf Mohammed, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department. Faculty staff and the Heads Branches of Department celebrated this distinguished achievement

Assist. Prof. Dr. Afanin Anwar Abood emphasized the importance of this achievement for the department, which is considered newly established and has faced many difficulties until reaching this status.

The Administrative Assistant praised the efforts made to raise the status of the Communications Engineering Department among the corresponding departments in Iraqi universities, stressing that the efforts and giving will continue to reach higher goals and greater ambitions in the future.

The celebration concluded by honoring a group of the department’s lecturers staff for obtaining academic promotion.
