Biomedical honor the women of the department in the occasion of International Women Day

Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Technology honored the women of the department, this came during the ceremony held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Wissam Kahdim to celebrate the occasion of International Women’s Day.

It focused on the pivotal role of women in society at various levels. Women are the force of change in society, and they are half of society in terms of composition and all of society in terms of influence in upbringing and formation. She is the mother, sister, wife, grandmother, teacher, educator, and worker, and the positive change that societies seek depends on her. She has great influenced by the reality of women and the extent to which they are able to carry out their roles, as they occupy a fundamental role in building their families and caring them, through the responsibility they have as a mother in terms of raising the generations, and what they bear as a wife in terms of managing the family, and with the progress and development of societies, we find that women are not only committed to with her duty towards her family and raising children, she has now played a major social role in various fields, based on her scientific, cultural and social qualifications.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the department’s female lectures and staff by the Scientific Deputy, Prof. Dr. Jinan Sttar, and the Administrative Deputy, Lec. Dr. Hussein Jamil, the representative of the faculty staff in the department, Lec. Dr. Ali Jalal, and the head of the Medical Devices Branch, Lec. Dr. Alaa Mohammed.
