Civil Engineering Department organizes an awareness lecture on (negative phenomena in society) 

The Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Technology, in cooperation with the Community Police of the Department of Relations and Media, organized an awareness lecture on (Negative Phenomena in Society) in the presence of the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Youssef Fattah and a number of professors and students of the department.

  In which the lecturers from the Relations, Media and Feminism Divisions, in collaboration with the Karrada detachments, presented to the attendees the definition of the concept of community policing and its preventive and therapeutic role in dealing with negative phenomena such as electronic blackmail and drugs and knowledge of ways of prevention and protection to limit them. At the same time, explanatory leaflets carrying free lines to the competent authorities in this regard in the Ministry of the Interior were distributed. Including the community police's toll-free line (497) to enhance the culture of reporting among community members.
