Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology held the third international conference under the title Modern Technologies in the Oil and Gas Industry in cooperation with the University of the Future, the Central Refineries Company, and Komar University in the city of Sulaymaniyah, in the presence of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, and the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Khaled Ajami Sukkar. And a group of faculty members from the Chemical Engineering Department at the university.

Al-Ghabban said in his speech that the Oil and Gas Conference is one of the important conferences in the field of energy, and that the exchange of ideas and projects between the conference participants will achieve many positive results at the scientific level and the development of these projects, especially the broad participation at the international level, thanking all those organizing and supporting this conference.

For his part, the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Khaled Ajami Sukkar, concentrated of thanks and gratitude for the presidency of the University of Technology for the unlimited support for holding this scientific conference, as today we are witnessing the start of the proceedings of the Third International Conference on Modern Technologies in the Oil and Gas Industries. He added that these conferences are important steps to put modern technologies under the consideration and work to keep pace with these developments in order to invest them in the field of oil and gas industries.

The first day witnessed several research sessions in the field of oil and gas industries, in addition to awarding shields of appreciation to university presidents and those responsible for the success of the scientific conference.
