Computer Science Department hold a workshop about Millennium Filloship program

Computer Science Department at the University of Technology held a workshop about “Millennium Fellowship” program in the presence of Administrative Deputy, Assist. Prof. Dr. Bashar Saadoun Mahdi, the head of Multimedia Branch, Dr. Rana Muhammad Hassan, and the students of the branch.

The workshop included the illustration of Abdul-Qudus Hamid Muslih / Senior Student / Multimedia Branch, about Milleunnim Fellowship Program, which is a grant provided by the United Nations allocated to non-graduate bachelor’s students, preferred; (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior), and works on a major goal of sustainable development.

The first time launched of the scholarship was in 2010, its idea is to form groups of students, each group consisting of 8 students, choose a group leader among themselves, if they are from the same university of the same science and engineering discipline, and distributed among specific projects and receive video lectures. They are guided by international experts. The admission to this scholarship via a special link.

At the conclusion of the lecture, the Administrative Deputy awarded a certificate of appreciation to the student lecturer in appreciation of his efforts in delivering the lecture.
