Head of Oil and Gas Equipment Engineering Branch join the Ambition and Creativity Forum

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, and under the slogan (Scholarship candidates are ambitious and creative), it came in confirmation of the ministerial curriculum in the year of achievements 2024, and at the invitation of the Prime Minister’s Office, Prof. Dr. Rahiq Ismail Ibrahim, Head of the Oil and Gas Equipment Engineering Branch in the Electromechanical Engineering Department at the University of Technology and a member of the Supreme Committee for Educational Development and the Scholarship Interviews Committee, she honored the attended the Ambition and Creativity Forum at the Prime Minister’s Guest House as a representative of the University of Technology in the Scholarship Interviews Committee.

  The forum included a speech by the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, regarding the scholarship initiative and the comprehensive development program, and a speech by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in which they congratulated this step on the path to scientific consolidation. The Prime Minister also appreciated the efforts made in the Ministry of Higher Education, the deans of colleges, and the Supreme Committee, the general directors, and the interview committee, for their efforts in preparing the first group of our sons to be sent to universities around the world.

Prof. Dr. Rahiq Ismail Ibrahim confirmed that the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, announced that the first group of Iraqi students would be sent abroad, which includes 400 male and female students, in various scientific specializations, to referred international universities, as part of the scholarship program announced by the government. Last May, that included 5,000 scholarships to advanced international universities.
