Two lecturers from Electromechanical Engineering Department participate in the fourth course of (TOT) in teaching methods towards blended learning according to the updated curriculum
The two lecturers from Electromechanical Engineering Department at the University of Technology and the two members of the Ministerial Executive Committee to prepare trainers participated in the course on teaching methods towards blended learning, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jawad Mohammed and Prof. Dr. Samar Jaafar Ismail, in the course of preparing curricula for teaching methods towards blended learning according to the updated curriculum. In Iraqi universities, which were hosted by the University of Kufa for the period 2/19/2024 to 3/17/2024.
The course aimed to build and develop qualified trainers for the Continuous Education Center to develop newly appointed teaching staff from Iraqi universities.
The training course curricula include a group of training units, the most important of which are: Introduction about Learning and Teaching, Design and Teaching Unit, Measurement, Evaluation and Feedback Unit, Teaching Methods and Facilitation Strategies Unit, career Ethics Unit, Scientific Research Unit, and Education Quality Unit.
On its first day, the course focused on introducing the program that launched in 2022 at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the United Nations, and went through several stages presented by the member of the Executive Committee, Dr. Mohammed Jawad Mohammed (program preparation stage, training stage, in addition to explaining the structure of the units and the measurement strategies used.
