Students in the Department of Architecture present their final project to the Iraqi International Cultural Center for Antiquities and Architectural Heritage

 

The students of the third stage completed the submission of the second final project for the Iraqi International Cultural Center for Antiquities and Architectural Heritage, which is a specialized architecture center that aims to introduce the importance of antiquities and architectural heritage, and develop the design for an architectural icon that represents Iraqi architecture in keeping with contemporary international architecture. The center also aims to make the proposal design a global attraction point that opens prospects for exchanging and displaying archaeological and heritage collections around the world and represents the global museum system and those concerned with preservation and heritage around the world.

The design team was represented by ten teachers, both ladies and gentlemen: Dr. Safaa Al-Din Al-Samarrai is responsible for the architectural branch, Dr. Khansa Ghazi Rashid is responsible for the urban branch, and members of Dr. Shamail Mohammed Al-Dabbagh, Dr. Zainab Hussein Raouf, Dr. Enas Salem Abdel Wahed, Dr. Venus Suleiman, Dr. Siri Qasim. , Dr. Yahya Adel, Dr. Muhammad Bassem, and Dr. Ataa Hassan.
