Civil Engineering Department hold a lecture on the education portfolio and determining student outcomes (course assessment)

Within lectures of developing teaching staff in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Technology, the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division held an intensive lecture on (the education portfolio and determining student graduate outcomes (1-7) (course assessment) this lecture delivered by the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Majeed Khudair, in the presence of the teaching staff in the department.

The lecture included a detailed explanation of how to evaluate students’ performance within each learning outcome, highlighting how to write Key Performance Indicators KPI, as well as how to write Rubric by the lecturers, which is a measure of student performance within each KPI, and thus the performance and level of all students and their abilities are evaluated to possess the skills required within each learning outcome. Lecturers were also stressed on the need to complete the evaluation of all subjects and submit them within the educational package, and this procedure continues to be used for the purpose of obtaining engineering program accreditation.
