Civil Engineering Department at the University of Technology awarded M.Sc. degree to the student Ayad Mohammed Radhawa for his thesis titled:

MODELING THE ARTIFICIAL RECHARGE OF GROUNDWATER BY RAINWATER HARVESTING (A CASE STUDY FROM BADRA)

The thesis aimed to determine the impact of artificial recharge of rainwater on the groundwater levels of the Badra Basin, and the possibility of raising its levels to meet the future needs of the region

The results of the study showed a continuous decrease in the groundwater level, reaching (1.65) m, in addition to the results of groundwater samples that are unsuitable for drinking and agriculture
