A lecturer from Mechanical Engineering Department participate as a keynote speaker in the Fourth International Conference on Computing, Communications, and Intelligent Systems
Assist. Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel Hadi Jabr, Scientific Deputy of Mechanical Engineering Department, participated as a keynote speaker in the Fourth International Conference on Computing, Communications, and Intelligent Systems, which was held under the auspices of the IEEE for the period (3-4) of last November.
4th IEEE International Conference on Computing, Communication, and Intelligent Systems
He gave a lecture via the Zoom platform entitled:
Harnessing AI: Leveraging Machine Learning for Robust Quadcopter Fault Diagnosis
The lecture focused on how to develop an effective model to diagnose malfunctions in drones using machine learning algorithms, as well as collecting operational data from drones that have various malfunctions, and then training different algorithms on this data to extract patterns and features that distinguish between normal cases and the unusual.
The results showed the ability of the proposed model to detect damage and determine their type with an accuracy of more than 95%, providing a powerful tool for predictive maintenance.
