Within the skills development program, Communications Engineering Department at University of Technology organized a training workshop entitled:

A practical guide to writing an informative literature review

The lectures were delivered by Lec. Dr. Hussam Hussein Ali in the presence of a number of graduate students from various departments

The workshop aimed to understand the purpose of reviewing scientific literature, learn ways to organize your literature, and determine potential goals for conducting the review. The steps for reviewing literature and scientific reviews were also clarified.

The workshop included many pivotal, the most prominent of which was introducing high study students to how to determine the scope of the research field and the investigation, as well as locating relevant literature, identifying methods and tools that are useful and those that have less potential, avoiding unintended repetition of previous studies, and put the researchers in a better position to explain the significance of their findings as well as organize the quality and relevant information that defines the writing process and present information that defines the current research and the purpose and benefits of the new research.
