Nanotechnology Research Center hold a workshop on bacteriophage, their types and applications

Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center at the University of Technology held a workshop entitled (Bacteriophage Typing and Application at Communications Engineering Department, delivered by (Assist. Lect. Rajwan Khalil) in the presence of a number of the center’s staff and other university departments

The workshop included introducing the attendees to pathogenic bacteria, their different types and new strains that are characterized by their resistance to antibiotics and the extent of their impact on human health.

The workshop also included diagnosing bacterial types through the use of advanced modern methods, types of laboratory diagnosis of bacteria, the mechanism of preparing agricultural media for the growth of bacteria, and the types and characteristics of these media.
