The Diwan Affairs Department organizes a course of civil defense

The Department of Diwan Affairs, Civil Defense and Emergency Division at the University of Technology organized a course on civil defense and first aid, with the participation of safety and civil defense committees and university employees.

The Director of the Diwan Affairs Department Asst. L. Zaid Riyadh Al-Anbari stated that the course included introducing the participants to the types of fire extinguishers, their internal and external contents, the purpose for which each type is used, how to examine them and ensure their readiness, as well as methods of fire control and first aid for the injured.

The Director of the Civil Defense Division m. The Director, Ali Qahtan Khalaf, said that the course was held in the halls of the Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the Karrada Civil Defense Center, for two days.

Lectures were given in the course by Lieutenant Colonel Kamal Abdel Mazhar, officer of the Karrada Civil Defense Center, and Commissioner Bilal Basem Hamza, responsible and training teacher.
