Control Engineering Department win first place in the Sports Festival of kinetic Games

Control and Systems Engineering Department at UOT won the third sports festival for kinetic games (towards the goal) that was held by Control and Systems Engineering Department in cooperation with the Student Activities Department at UOT and the participation of the College of Engineering at the Iraqi University and the Women Empowerment Unit at Al-Farabi Private College and Al-Iraqia huna team on Tuesday 7 March 2023 in the Tartan Stadium at the university, in the presence of the head of the Control and Systems Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Azad Rahim Karim, the Director of the Student Activities Department, Prof. Dr. Najah Salman, the Director of Al-Diwan Department, Dr. Zaid Al-Anbari, and number of UOT faculty staff and students.

Control and Systems Eng. Dep. Students were able to win the first place by defeating students of Engineering College of Iraqi University in the game of moving balls on plastic pipes after two teams are equalized in games number for male and female students in which they won seven games each, so that the Iraqi University team occupied the second place and came third Al-Farabi College team by winning two games.

Games that competed by students included a group running competition, moving a sleeping person, moving a ball between baskets, running with planks of wood, blowing up balloons, toki on a slippery floor, transferring balls on plastic tubes, transferring a hilla hoop by two people, and transferring a hilla hoop between two people by stick.

In the end, the Head of the Control and Systems Eng. Dep., Prof. Dr. Azad Rahim Karim, distributed certificates of thanks and appreciation to the teams, their representatives, male and female students who participated in the festival, as well as the winning teams' cups.
