The Department of Civil Engineering is holding a symposium on rapid construction techniques for bridges and viaducts

Under the direct supervision of the Head of the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Hassan Hamoudi Johnny, and in cooperation with the American Concrete Institute, Iraq Branch

The Civil Engineering Department held a scientific symposium entitled

Techniques of rapid construction of bridges and viaducts Transfer of a train bridge within 5 days using hydraulic cranes.

The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Haitham Hassan Miteb Al-Daami, Vice President of the Iraq Branch - American Concrete Institute - Iraq Branch

It dealt with the presentation of modern construction techniques to replace bridges and viaducts by using a system of hydraulic jacks to replace the train bridge within 5 days as a time interval.

The symposium came through a field visit and experiencing the transfer process in order to transfer a real experience that took place in Germany, Munich.
