University of Technology participate a meeting

  The President of University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, participated in a meeting chaired by the National Security Adviser, Mr. Qassem Al-Araji, to discuss ways to make the work of the Military Industrialization Authority successful and support its efforts, in the presence of a number of presidents of Iraqi universities, directors of the Military Industrialization Authority, and specialists from the security services.

The meeting held for the purpose of coordinating efforts that create a complementarity between the concerned state institutions, in order to support the Military Industrialization Authority, through researches and studies that improve the performance of the Iraqi military industry, by benefiting from scientific and research institutions.

Al-Araji assert during the meeting that the Prime Minister, Eng. Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani, gives a great importance to the Military Industrialization Authority, and that Iraq must take its real role and place in this vital file, in order to develop its academic and manufacturing capabilities, and upgrade this sector.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance and develop researches and studies, through coordination between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and to benefit from Iraqi universities in the cross-fertilization of ideas between the academic side and the applied side, to advance the national military industry.
