Materials Eng. Dep. organize a scientific visit to Al-Qudis gas station

 Polymeric and Petrochemical Materials Engineering Branch in Materials Eng. Dep.  at UOT organized a scientific visit for its students to Al-Quds gas station / the General Company of Electric Power Production / Middle Region, with a number of faculty staff (Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammad A. Al-Zuhairi, Lec. Dr. Shaima M. Saleh and Lec. Dr. Zina Nouri).

 The visit included introducing (junior & senior student) to the mechanism of work of the most important industrial units related to the method of processing crude oil to be ready for use and to generate energy and gases needed to operate the turbines. The lecturers and their students also visited the fuel testing and evaluation laboratories, which contributes to the students’ aspirations for knowledge and scientific observation and the development of what they receive from theoretical lectures and laboratory experiments at the university.
