Under the supervision of the Research and Development Division in the Office of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, a working group of graduates and students from the departments of Control, Systems and Computer Science has completed the idea of ​​developing an electric scooter with special specifications.

The device included many features, the most important of which is that the scooter will provide a service to students of the University of Technology, and in addition to that it can be used by the Security Department of the University  by conducting follow-up patrols on the campus, as well as operating via the RFID card and thus it is protected from use by non-authorized persons, and the possibility of charging the card in order to allow the student to use the scooter with the possibility of finding the location of the scooter to protect against theft wherever it is via the GPS system. And a timer is set for the scooter to operate and when the time period ends, the scooter stops working.
