Under the support of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, the Department of Media and Public Relations, in cooperation with the University's Health Center, held a seminar entitled (The Importance of Vaccine Against Coronavirus Covid-19) at Dar Al-Salam Hall in the Continuing Education Center.

The seminar was attended by Assistant President of Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim, Director of the Center for Continuing Education Assist. Prof. Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, and Director of the Department of Divan Affairs Assist. Lect. Zaid Riyadh Al-Anbari.

The lecture, given by Dr. Enas Qasim Hussein from the university’s health center, aimed to explain the benefits of vaccines, their types and their role in reducing infection rates, reducing the number of deaths, immunizing society and increasing immunity through it.

The lecture included talking about the types of vaccines used in Iraq and the world for Covid19 disease, their effects, warnings, timing, and results, indicating that it is possible to vaccinate any of the vaccines available in health centers and it is not necessary to focus on one vaccine without another, all of them are safe.
