Computer Science Department hold a lecture

Computer Science Department at UOT held a cultural lecture about “underage girls Empowerment between reality and ambition" at the Peace Hall in the Continuing Education Center, in the presence of the President of UOT, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, Head of the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Karim Abdel-Hassan, and the Administrative Deputy Dr. Bashar Sadoon and a number of engineering and scientific professors of departments at the university.

The lecture delivered by Dr. Souheir Mohamed Zaki, Director of the Educational Counseling Unit in the Computer Science Department, that aimed at girls’ Empowerment culturally, morally and socially before being financially.

The lecture dealt with the cultural, health and educational of girls’ empowerment and the basic factors in the formation of the girl’s personality to help her in dealing with life and the outside world, as well as the girls’ and women’s rights in education aspect that leads to multiplier results, so its guarantee and implementation facilitate access to other rights.
