The University Committee for Scientific Promotion at the University of Technology headed by Prof.Dr.Ameen Dauai decided to promote four teachers from the rank of teacher to the rank of assistant professor, and they are Dr. Mohamed Kazem form Electromechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Hussein Abbas from Construction and Construction Engineering Department, Dr. Janan Abdul Karim from Chemical Engineering Department and Dr. Khaleda Farhan from the Department of Applied Sciences

And the promotion of 4 teachers from the rank of assistant teacher to a teacher they are lect. Rabab Farhan from Production and Minerals Engineering Department , Yaghdan Redha from English Language Center , Ammar Fakhri from Department Computer Science Department and Juhayna Muatasim from Applied Sciences Department
