Laser and Optical Electronics Engineering Department at UOT granted MA degree to the student (Ishaq Saadoun Najm) specializing in Laser Engineering for his thesis
(Study the effect of annealing temperature on the physical properties for CuS nano films prepared by Pulsed Laser Deposition)
The study aims to know the effect of the annealing process on these properties, where CuS films are characterized and analyzed using different techniques such as: X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and ultraviolet spectrophotometer (UV). -Vis). XRD measurements indicated that the films before the annealing process indicated that the 600 mJ sample had a higher intensity value than the intensity values of the other tested samples, and its results are in the range θ2 (22°-79°) and Miller's coefficients are in the range (004-213). After the annealing process, it was found that the best crystallization of CuS thin films obtained at 400 °C is derived from PLD, and its results are in the range θ=(12.4°-45°) 2 Miller's coefficients= (002-110).
While the structure of these films after the annealing process is much better than that before this process due to the increased intensity of the peaks.
