Control and Systems Engineering Department at UOT discusses MSc. thesis about (Application of Sliding Mode Control to a Flexible Joint Robot)

Control and Systems Engineering Department at UOT discussed MSc. thesis for the student (Ahmed Mohsen Mohamed) about (Control Engineering) on
Sunday, 5/20/2020 on the conference hall of the Department that tagged
(Application of Sliding Mode Control to a Flexible Joint Robot)
 The discussion committee consisted of:
1_ Assist. Prof. Dr. Farazdaq Rafiq Yassin, the head.
2_ Assist. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Qasim Ibrahim / member.
3_ Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khalaf Hammoudi / member.
4- Assist. Prof. Dr. Shibley Ahmed Hamid / member and supervisor.
Many electromechanical systems such as a rolling mill, a conveyor belt, a
flexible robotic arm, the controls designed in this thesis depend on dynamic
models, so two different states of the model structure of a two-block
system have been derived here according to the type of flexible joint that
connects the load bearing taking into consideration friction Non-linear
existing.
this was attended by Deputy of Scientific Affairs and High Study of Head of
the Department
