A delegation from Materials Engineering Department at UOT discusses ways to develop Msc. of materials engineering at Engineering College of Diyala University

A delegation from Materials Engineering Department at UOT included the head of the Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Hussein A. Jaber, the esteemed, with a group of faculty members of College Engineering department at Diyala University on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, according to the ministerial committee formed by the Research and Development Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the purpose of field inspection and researching ways of how will the college is ready in achieving the requirements of creation Master’s study in materials engineering field where they were received by the Dean of Engineering College / Diyala University Prof. Dr.  Anis Abdullah Kahdim, the esteemed, the head and faculty members of Materials Engineering Department at Diyala University.

The visit included a field tour to evaluate the college's labs and their readiness to conduct specialized scientific experiments and research in this field and explain their conformity with international standards as well as access to the classrooms designated to give theoretical lectures to high studies and discussion rooms and see the CVs of faculty staff.

Under the auspices of UOT President, the Environmental Research Center distributes food baskets for the second time to needy families

Under the auspices of UOT President, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, the Social Solidarity Committee at Environmental Research Center of University on Friday 1/5/2020 distributed food baskets for the second time in Ramadan to needy families, as the basket included sixteen food items.

The University of Technology always is the first in distributing aid and serving the needy families in Ramadan, before and after Ramadan. We ask Allah Almighty to grant the Iraqis health and wellness and to remove this epidemic from us.

 Dr. Al-Ghabban praised the recent efforts made by the Environmental Research Center, wishing them continued success and success in providing assistance to the needy families and the university service.

The workshop was on Tuesday, 4/21/2020 at (4 pm).

The workshop aims to introduce what Doppler is, how it is generated, its relationship to the signal sent to the body and its movement to be detected, and important mathematical relationships in that, hence the methods for extracting this Doppler and its importance of detect those moving objects, as well as some important applications used in practical life.
