The UOT presidency complete preparations to perform the final electronic exams for high-study students

According to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research instructions and in view of the exceptional circumstances of Corona pandemic, and to the requirements of the current stage, the university has taken effective steps to activate the system of electronic exams, which is in the interest of students and overcome all difficulties and obstacles that may result from the practice of this exam for the first time at the level of education in Iraq, where the UOT presidency with all scientific departments and faculty staff has completed all preparation to perform Final exam (electronic exam) for high-study students of academic year 2019-2020, starting at  6/14/2020 in all engineering and scientific specializations by adopting the Google classroom. A sober mechanism has been put that contributes facilitating the performance of electronic exam by placing Demo questions on the platform and answering all the comments and inquiries received from them. UOT urges students to communicate and strive to complete the final exams in a successful way to get benefit and not losing the academic year for them.

 A lecturer from Computer Science Department at UOT participates with evaluation of three research papers for (Al-Noor) the 2ed International Conference of Science and Technology 2NICST2020

Assist. Lec.  Dina Kahdim Mohsen from Computer Science Department at UOT participates with evaluation of three research papers for (Al-Noor) the 2ed International Conference of Science and Technology 2NICST2020 to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 24-30 / 8/2020, one of them is engineering axis and two of them are science axis.

When she honored by scientific committee that supervising the conference (three letters of thanks) she valued for her efforts, the assessments were added by the publon international website on her profile

Supervising committee of administration and implementation of electronic exams for high studies in Computer Science Department at UOT holds a pilot exam for high-study students (Msc & Phd) on Google class room platform

Supervising committee of administration and implementation of electronic exams for high studies in Computer Science Department at UOT holds a pilot exam for high-study students (Msc & Phd) on Google class room platform for 2ed semester of academic year 2019/2020 on Tuesday 6/9 at 4 pm.

Through the exams, the committee diagnosed some important obstacles and observations that will be overcome by the committee during the exam period, which will be scheduled next Sunday 6/14

The committee also diagnosed some of mistakes that students made during the pilot exam, and they were informed these mistakes to not repeating again during the exam period.

Lecturers from Civil Engineering Department at UOT receive medal of innovation in second position in the exhibition of patents and industrial models

Prof. Dr. Shaker A. Saleh and Assist. Prof .Dr. Qais J. Fraih, from Civil Engineering Department at UOT, was received Medal of innovation in second position in the exhibition of patents and industrial models held by Al-Mustansiriya University, with the support of Identity Center for Studies and Research on 4/30/2020

In partnership with Dr. Menolia Abdel-Wahab Ali, with the patented label, “production of two new types of saffron concrete with super-high tensile and flexural strength”

Under the auspices of UOT President, the Department of Petroleum Technology, begins preparing classrooms to receive students during the summer period

Under the auspices of UOT President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban and the direct supervision of the Head of Petroleum Technology Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Fadel Sarhan Kahdim, the department began installing air-conditioners and completing the tinting of classrooms for the department’s annex on Wednesday 29/4/2020.

 This exceptional effort came by the technical and engineering department staff and instructions of the department’s directions towards creating the appropriate conditions for receiving dear students during the next summer period to compensate for the delay they missed due to the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through.
