Assist. Prof. Dr. Ammar Hadi Al-Qaisi / the Head of Biotechnology Department at the Nanotechnology Research Center and Advanced Materials at UOT participated in the scientific symposium tagged:
(Nanotechnology Revolution of the Future: Industrial, medical, commercial and scientific applications of nanomaterials) which was held at the University of Maysan - College of Education.
In Corona Pandemic Circumstances, virtual education has become an urgent, and to move forward in scientific communication and exchange of scientific experiences, especially nanotechnology.
The symposium aimed to coordinate with researchers locally and globally to exchange scientific experiences and to enhance the research culture promotion, in particular stimulating scientific research and applications of nanomaterials to serve the community, and building strong and fruitful groups with local and international research institutions in research affairs.
You can learn about this technology and what it hides from many competitors in many scientific fields, including medical, whereas Nano-biological sensors are the key to getting rid of the Corona pandemic through the manufacture of highly sensitive biological sensors for early detection of corona virus infection within minutes and in addition to early detection of cancer diseases, including industrial applications, especially mechanical engineering where nanomaterials are used in many ways to improve the properties of minerals and overlapping materials
On the energy storage side, it contributed to the improvement of ion-lithium batteries by using nanomaterials, which increases the energy storage capacity with a shorter charging time.
Finally, the symposium included a basic focus on preparing nanomaterials.
