Alumni Follow-up Unit in the Department of Chemical Engineering holds a training course on (the future of water and air pollution treatment in the world using nanotechnology)
The graduate follow-up unit in the Department of Chemical Engineering held a training course on (the future of water and air pollution treatment in the world using nanotechnology) on Tuesday, 8/9/2019 at Dar Al Salam Hall.
A lecture was given by Dr. Alaa on how to identify the latest methods used in the treatment of water and air pollution in the world using the central nanomaterials that have the highest ability to treat at the lowest quantity and cost, as well as the continuous development of these methods and conducting modern research that produces good and tangible results. In this field, at the end of the course certificates of participation were granted to graduates.
The Department of Electromechanical Engineering holds a workshop on ABET's new student outputs
The Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology held a workshop on the new student outputs of ABET International for program accreditation delivered by the lecturer at the department Prof. jalal Mohammed Jalil.
The workshop included an explanation of the new indicators of the seven students' outputs, which were derived from the old (AK) outputs. I took from ILLINOIS US University.
The workshop also reviewed the new program education objectives to be adopted by the Department of Electromechanical Engineering in the next academic year 2019-2020.
Department of Electrical Engineering organizes a workshop on the adoption of discretionary scale in laboratories
The Department of Electrical Engineering organized a workshop on (Accreditation of Appreciation Ladder (Rubric) in scientific laboratories and graduation projects and its role in improving the quality of student performance) in the presence of the President of the University of Technology and scientific and administrative assistants Higher education and scientific research and a number of representatives of private colleges. .
The workshop, which was delivered by Dr. Uday Ali Ahmed, aims to use the assessment scale to improve student performance and support e-learning platforms for all teaching and learning tools and facilitate their use.
PhD student gives a lecture on the use of nanomaterials in the membrane adsorption reactor (MAR) as an integrated system to remove contaminants from wastewater
Within the activities of scientific and cultural activity of the first semester of the Department of Chemical Engineering for the academic year 2019-2020 doctoral student (Saja Mohsen Jabbar) gave a lecture entitled:
Application of Nanoporous Material in a Membrane Adsorption Reactor (MAR) as an Integral System for Removal of Pollutant from Wastewater
Using nanomaterials in the membrane adsorption reactor (MAR) as an integrated system to remove contaminants from wastewater
On the Al-Khwarizmi Hall in the presence of the Chairman of the Department of Chemical Engineering Khaled Ajami Sukkar, suffering and heads of branches and a number of teachers and employees and students of masters and doctorates on Thursday, 10/9/2019.
The researcher explained that (adsorption systems - membranes) or so-called hybrid membranes as an integrated system of global interest, the research aims to prepare and diagnose nanomaterials MCM-41)) in order to assess its activities as adsorbents to remove organic pollutants, especially dyes from wastewater using the process of adsorption system and diet Continuous and then conduct membrane experiments and then compare the results with the hybrid system.
Two Teachers from the University of Technology Obtained a Patent for the Preparation of a Nanoparticles Membrane against Reflection
Granting the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control at the Ministry of Planning Teaching at the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Ali Hadi Abdel-Moneim Teaching in the Department of Laser Engineering and Optoelectronics and Prof. Ahmed Abdel Amir Hussein of the Center for Energy Technology and Renewable Energies Prof. Alaa Nizar Abdul Ghaffar, from the University of Baghdad patented for ((nanoparticles preparation against reflection and has the ability to self-cleaning solar cells using titanium dioxide (TiO2) restaurant)).
The patent included the manufacture of anti-reflective coating of nonmaterial's prepared using the (Sol-Gel) method and achieved important and useful results in the field of reducing the accumulated dust on the solar panel and thus maintaining the efficiency of the solar cell.
