Vision:

ICTC will be a distinct and solo work in the field of specialties and to meet the requirements of the university community and by the rapid developments in technological developments

Mission:

Provide communications services and technologies and data banks in all parts of the university and with high quality, and in line with internationally approved technical standards with a commitment to professional ethics.
Because " the importance of information and communication technology and has caused a major development in scientific and technological progress and the entry of the technology as an essential element in various fields and the most important process of e- transformation of the traditional case ( paper ) to electronic case of the electronic government By which the provision of services to citizens electronically and convert all systems and applications in the public sector and the private sector , civil society organizations and businessmen to electronic case in an effective manner and efficient , transparent and to serve the national development and building a competitive diversified economy based on knowledge .
Therefore, one of the main tasks of the Information and Communication Technology Center employ these techniques in the delivery of public services to enhance good governance and the participation of students and their professors citizens and the achievement of equality , social justice, transparency, accountability , efficiency and effectiveness in government work to get to a competitive diversified economy based on knowledge and the advancement of the scientific process and develop and make the university in the ranks of sober scientific universities .

Objectives:

With regard to the development of the learning side of the university, the vision and mission of the Information and Communication Technology Center is to build an electronic University through the completion of the following objectives:
1. Building E University electronic networks and the government and in accordance with the importance of developing human resources capabilities of working in the university and to keep pace of technological development.
2. Convert all the services, systems and applications from traditional case (paper) to electronic case gradually.
3. development of electronic university site and convert it from static to dynamic case the situation by adopting a high -level programming languages that rely net and improve its content and maintenance periodically , including raising the order of the university globally.
4. Create e-learning ( e-learning , distance education, interactive e- grade) interest in the content of scientific depending on World Records to raise the university order of the world .
5. Build of Optical Cable network to link the departments and university centers and services with each other.
6. Build interactive applications for students with the university library and rows of global electronic libraries.
7. Training teachers and staff of the university according to specialized courses in all areas of information and communication technology and electronic management and electronic networks , the government, in line with the importance of developing the capacity of human resources working in the university and Processions
of technological development .
8. ICTC builds specialized training courses in all scientific fields and all Iraqi ministries and universities staff.
9. Demonstrate the scientific and technical advice in various scientific and technological disciplines and the various Iraqi ministries and universities.
10.ICTC have the capacity and capability to build a joint cooperation in the completion of scientific and research and development projects with all state ministries .
11.ICTC have a private in the field of computer literacy in the area of technology and the various social strata in the public sector , the private sector and civil society organizations vision .
12. ICTC strives for joint cooperation with the private sector works in order to achieve sustainable development and the exchange of scientific and practical experience through joint projects and workshops.
