The Computer Science Department visits the headquarters of the Al Ain Social Welfare Foundation and delivers financial donations

In support of humanitarian initiatives within the framework of community service, the Head of the Computer Science Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, along with the department’s professors and students, organized a visit to the headquarters of the Al Ain Foundation for Social Welfare in Holy Kadhimiya. The delegation was received by the Director of the Development Center and a technical advisor to the Head of the Foundation, Dr. Imad Muhammad Abboud, during a field tour inside the institution. Its administrative departments are in the Al-Anjum Al-Zahira Building to learn about the most important activities and services that the Foundation provides to orphans and the poor, and to visit the rehabilitation and psychological counseling center that the Foundation provides for orphans to reintegrate them into society.

During the visit, cash amounts belonging to the members’ donations were handed over.

At the end of the visit, the Foundation’s management thanked the Head of the Computer Science Department and his accompanying delegation for this good initiative that reflects a culture of feeling for others. It is worth noting that the Al Ain Foundation is one of the humanitarian institutions concerned with the affairs of orphans who need care.
