Civil Engineering Department hold a workshop about occupational safety and risk management

Under the patronage of the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Majeed Khudair, and in implementation of the executive plan of the national policy to advance the reality of occupational health and safety and risk management in accordance with the system (ISO45001/2018), the Quality Assurance Department, in cooperation with the Civil Engineering Department, held a workshop entitled:

 (Occupational Safety and Risk Management) delivered by Quality Consultant Majid Ahmed Ali, in the presence of the Head Deputy of the Department for Administrative Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Wael Shawqi Abdul-Saheb, and the Lab Director, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Naeem, officials of the quality and laboratories divisions, laboratory accreditation units in the scientific departments, and a number of faculty staff and employees of the department and the university.

The workshop included an illustration and overview of the (ISO 45001/2018) standard and comparing them with the previous one for occupational health and safety, ISO 18001/2007, and explain its items and how to manage risks.
