University of Technology Wins Baghdad Prize for Career Creativity

Chief Engineer/ Naem Brisem Abed from Training and Workshop Center at U.O.T. won Baghdad Prize for Career Creativity and 1 ST place among the universities of the capital, Baghdad, in the Fourth Job Day Festival entitled "Our Iraq Flourishes with your giving" and under the sponsorship of the Baghdad Governorate, the support of the University of Baghdad, and the rejoicing in the centenary of the Iraqi state. Al-Hakim Hall, University of Baghdad.

In the presence of the Governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs Prof. Hussein H. Karim, and Head of the Control and Systems Engineering Department. , Asst. Prof. Dr. Azaad Rahim Karim, and Head of Computer Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Hassan Jalil Hassan , Director of the Nanotechnology Research Center and  Advanced Materials, Prof. Dr. Abbas Khammas Hussein and Director of Divan Affairs Department, Asst. Lec. Zaid Riyad Al-Anbari, and figures from different ministries and state institutes.

Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim, expressed his happiness with this achievement of the University of Technology and participating in this honor for the creative employees in the various directorates, adding that the University of Technology is well known, as it is distinguished in everything in terms of its classification among the university Dr.Hameed who chaired the university committee to choose the distinguished employee said that one is unable to find the distinguished employee because there are many of them but one must choose. The committee takes its decision that the distinguished employee is not a lecturer but an employee and thank GOD that the committee chose the distinguished employee among 42 competitors from different departments, centers and divisions of the university according to more difficult standards than the previous festival.

Dr.Hameed refers to choosing Naem Bresim according to his distinguish works as  training students , helping postgraduate students inside and outside Iraq, holding workshops in the university, manufacturing and installing fountains , gardens ,waterfalls and fish lake.       

Bresim, who gains the shield of distinguished employee thanks the presidency of the university and the committee and workshop and training center and anyone who participates to help him gain the first rank among the winners from the ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and other state departments.
