University of Technology: Chapter First Cultural Season

Sponsored by the Petroleum Engineering Department at the University of Technology, Chapter of the international petroleum engineering association held the first lectures of the first electronic cultural season in cooperation with the research unit in the department on Monday Nov., 30, 2020 via the electronic platform. Number of lecturers, students of the department and employees of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil have participated in the sessions.

The first session was presented by asst. chief .engineer Haider Alwan at Iraqi drilling company titled "Stubborn Pipes, how to control them and reduce risks"  

The sessions was managed by the Chapter representative Dr.Jihad Hussein and many scientific inquiries were discussed.

At the end Asst.Prof.Dr.Fadhil Sarhan, the head of Petroleum Engineering Department, thanked and appreciated the efforts of engineer Haider Sarhan and Dr.Jihad Hussein in managing and succession the session and promised to present the support for all scientific activities in the future.
