Computer Engineering Department at UOT grants MSc. about “auto search for cracks in the streets of Baghdad"
A high-study student from Computer Engineering Department at UOT (Nidaa A. Abd) obtained MSc. tagged “Auto search for cracks in the streets of Baghdad” on Thursday 04/30/2020 at conference hall in the department.
The aim of the study is to design a real system to find the location of cracks in the streets of Baghdad, consisting of physical components, including: (Camer, Ultrasonic sensor, Raspberry Pi3, GPS, and Arduino) and software components that include:
(Matlab, Microsoft SQL, and Map Arc) and create a map that locates these cracks using the GIS program. This system is characterized by accuracy, speed, and low cost.
The discussion committee included: -
1- Assist. Prof. Dr. Basem Abdul Baqi Jumaa (the head) from UOT / Computer Engineering Department.
2- Assist. Prof. Dr. Tariq Mohammed Salman. (member) UOM / Engineering College / Electrical Engineering Department.
3- Dr. Lama Issa Abdul Karim (member) from UOT/ Control and Systems Engineering Department.
4- Assist. Prof. Dr. Hassan Uhid Jiyad (member and supervisor) UOT / Computer Engineering Department.
