Continuing Education Center at the University of Technology organized a course for the validity of teaching with the participation of trainees from governmental and private sectors.

The course aims at determining the validity of the faculty member and his/her eligibility for the scientific process.

The course includes preparing lesson plan and test condition and testing the exam.

The course was presented by Asst.Prof.Dr. Sahera Abbas from Electromechanical Engineering Department at the University of Technology.

Due to the contract signed between the training center at the University of Technological and the General Company for Steel Industries, the Training Center has manufactured a cutting block for steel barriers on highways , where the training center was specially selected for manufacturing of such heavy equipment with high technology for having engineering technician experts  in addition to the machinery and modern equipment, which considered one of the best machines in the world, thus it has been dispensed with the external import of the difficulty of transport and high cost.

Website department  of the University on  the Information Technology Center on University of Technology has set up a central e-learning workshop in the presence of the Director of the Information Technology Center, Dr. Rana Farid Ghani, and authorized sections for the e-learning system.

The workshop aimed at spreading e-learning at the University of Technology.

And addressed the granting of the powers of supervisors of all scientific departments and how to use and activate the accounts of teachers to open an electronic classroom through the use of Google Class application and the creation of e-mail for students of preliminary studies and all stages of study.

Environmental Research Center at the University of Technology organized a seminar entitled "Heavy Elements", its sources and its impact through which Ithmar Abdul Majid Mohammed Jafar lectured on the definition of the sources of heavy elements in the environment and its uses and the most important environmental and health damage to them and methods of laboratory testing and measurement of heavy elements in environmental samples Different.

The Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Technology held a panel discussion to discuss the research that participated in the scientific conference held in Lebanon by Prof. Dr. Emad Saadi Abdel Karim. Dr. Fatima Jafar Mohamed and  Prof .Assis.Manar Abdul-Jabbar resulted from the effect of polymer coating on the bone marrow fusion of titanium.

The study investigated the effect of dental implants made of pure titanium with polymeric gitosan on improving and increasing the penetration between the implant and the jawbone. The technique was very suitable for polymer deposition and coating on the surface of the implant. Contributed to accelerate the integration and docking between the jaw bone and prostrate.
