The research included washing the using herbs (ginseng, acetate, flax, turmeric, chamomile, moon disc, rosemary and lunar disc husks) with well-distilled water by putting 100 g of these herbs in a glass container containing 300 ml ethanol solution % At room temperature for different time periods (1, 3, 5, 7 and 9) days the best time is 7 days. The output is then placed under a temperature effect of 70-80 ° C. At the end of the process, it has been studied the effect of adding the result of extract of these herbs to the properties of hydroxyl abetate nanoparticles was studied. Hydroxyl abetate was prepared. Fish husks and bones were collected and washed well in methanol alcohol as well as distilled water for the removal of suspended materials. It is then treated chemically with acid (H2SO4), while the remaining proteins are treated with sodium hydroxide, followed by a thermally calcined calcite for the preparation of hydroxyl abetate at internationally approved rates for medical applications.

Petroleum Technology Department at the University of Technology organized a scientific visit to the freshman to the field of Gharraf oil at Nasiriyah Rifai province in company of the Department professors' assist.lec Mohammed Ghazi and engineers Amin Karim Saleh and Ali Khalil Faraj.

A thesis discusses nanotechnology applications in drilling fluids at Petroleum Technology Department at the University of Technology for the student Dina Mahmoud Badr.
The research aimed to study using of Nano-Bentonite and nonmaterial as adding materials of drilling fluids to improve rheological properties and filtration and the number of productive barrels. It has been used two types of Bentonite and they are Iraqi bentonite and trade bentonite where it has been diagnosed the basic components (X-ray) device by Atomic Force Microscopy device.

Environmental Research Center at the University of Technology held a lecture about Aminocoumarin myth given by Prof.Dr. Ahmed Abdul- Alamir from environmental pollution section in the center, in the presence of number of University and employees of the center on Sunday, 02/21/2017.
The researcher identified Coumarin as natural compounds of an important medical effects as well as industrial applications of paints fields and others. And he added that the preparation of 4Coumarin component by many global researchers with the difference of an important physical feature which is melting point upon the researcher.
He showed that the component has an importance due to a scientific challenge that melting point represents a fingerprint for each chemical component. From here the idea of preparing this component is coming that has been done in a new method, relying on an important interaction that is Dublin interaction and diagnostic tests of the component proved that the preparing component is as the same as 4Coumarin.
