The establishment of the Scientific Affairs & Cultural Relations Department is concurrently established with the establishment of the University of Technology in 1975. The Department provides the required work by establishing the foundations of the advancement of teaching level. It also provides the university with the new teaching abilities and raises the required efficiency through the implementation of the quarterly and annually scientific plans through motivating the teaching and technical staffs of the university by engaging them in educational courses and scholarships. The Department of Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations is concerned with many important activities and implementing the related procedures needed for the development of the department and the university through its two effective units: the Scientific Affairs Unit and the Cultural Relations Unit.
