Opening of Petroleum Technology Lab on University Day May 8^th, 2011

As a part of the ongoing celebrations of the University of Technology’s 39^th annual University Day, the Department of Oil Technology took the opportunity to open its new set of labs and officiate its use by students. Present at this great even was the President of the University (Dr. Qahtan Kalaf Al-Khazraji), alongside Head of Registration, and Head of Internal Affairs (Dr. Khaled Ajmy Sakar). Also present were the heads of all the educational departments. The Department sees this opportunity as an important occasion in its history, and the labs have been equipped with the highest standards, and are intended to train the upcoming students in industrial oil technologies, including the physics and chemistry of oil studies. Near the end of the event, the President of the University pointed out his appreciation for this great even to the Dean of the Department and the professors involved.
