In order to keep up with the march of scientific and development taking place in the department, the second stage students visited al-Ahdab Oilfield / Alwaha Chinese company in Wasit on Thursday 19/11/2015. Students were accompanied by teaching and engineers staff, headed by Mr. Mohammed Ghazi Khalid.

During the visit, the students were briefed on the horizontal drilling process used in the field and get an idea of the difficulties faced by workers in the field and used equipment as well as the knowledge of the oil specifications and its chemical composition and observed the Insulators and stages of the oil insulating.
