To find out the difficulties faced by the teaching staff in the petroleum technology department in the University of Technology, the president of university of technology, Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer, has met  the faculty members of the department in the conference hall on Thursday 5102/2/52.

The president of the university has assured on the importance of continuing scientific and educational process within the department as the department is one of the most important scientific departments within the university which requires everyone to stand as one hand for the continuation of the march forward. The department has showed numerous achievements in terms of sending scientific missions and the provision of modern laboratories and the opening of higher education studies, and the graduation of the second assembly of the academic year 2014/2015 as well as the university of technology has obtained the second place in the world ranking of Iraqi universities. The president of the university started a debate with the teaching staff to discuss their problems and find appropriate solutions to them. Finally the president of the university appreciated the efforts of the head of the department, faculty members and the department staff of all given great service to the department and university.
