A Seminar about Drugs Downsides and its Effect on Society

    With the instructions of the central committee of the educational and healthy guidance, the Petroleum Technology Department held a seminar titled “Drugs Downsides and its effect on society” to the students of the University of Technology on Tuesday the 19^th of march 2013 on the meetings hall of the Control and Systems department.

    The seminar presented by Dr. Uday Khalid, psychology lecturer in Medical college / Al-Nahrin University, with the presence of Dr. Mohammed Al-Ani the scientific assistant of the University, Dr. Asawer Abdul Rasul the scientific assistant of the department, Dr. Ramze Sayhood the administrative assistant of the department, Dr. Raad Al-Khalisi the head of The Petroleum Engineering branch and many of the department members.

    Dr. Uday Khalid declared that this seminar was about educating students and giving them information about the risks of drugs, causes of addiction, how to cure it and how to avoid it. Praising the efforts of committee which aware each and every department in the University of Technology.

    At the end of the seminar an effective discussion occurred then the scientific assistant of the university honored the lecturer for his efforts and great information.
