The Department of Petroleum Technology Participated in the University Graduation Ceremony

Within atmosphere full of joy and delight, the Petroleum Technology Department participated in the graduation ceremony of the university, under this year slogan ((our unity defeats terrorism and builds the homeland)) on Monday, October / 2015 which was held at the University of Technology Gardens and in the presence of the representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Qassim Mohammed, the senior deputy of the Ministry of Education and the governor of Baghdad, Ali Al-Tamimi and the university president Prof. Amin Douai Thamer and the department heads and general managers as well as a number of figures.

The celebration began with playing the national anthem, followed by the entry of Iraqi flags and the slogan of the Ministry of Higher Education and the university slogan and then reviews Kradis of graduates for engineering and scientific departments, according to seniority, which finished by the University Council.

The celebration included a number of items started with reciting a verse from the Quran and reading Surat Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq. After that, the President of the University of Technology gave his speech, which he asserted that the graduates of the university are the renewable energy and inexhaustible power, as the Under-Minister speech on this happy occasion explaining the need for their services to the country to contribute to the rebuilding of Iraq and defend it.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of gifts by the representative of the minister and the President of the University to the three top graduates of the university departments.

The first three graduates for the department of Petroleum Technology are: Alia Mahmoud, Ali Khalil and Zainab Rahim Kazem.

It is worth noting that our department has come out this year with the second batch of graduation.

On this occasion, we would like to extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to our students, wishing them success and development.
