Msc Student Tholfaqar Nasser, from Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology, discussed his thesis "HIGH PERFORMANCE LUBRICATING OIL FOR MILITARY TANKS APPLICATION BY USING DIFFERENT NANOPARTICLES"
The discussion was held in DAR AL SALAM hall at the department on Nov., 8, 2018.

The researcher showed in this study, two types of multi-walled carbon nano tubes (MWCNTs1) and (MWCNTs2) were produced from two liquid hydrocarbons (H.Cs.1 and H.Cs.2). The production process involved fuel combustion in a special combustion unit designed for this purpose. All operating parameters in this unit (temperature, fuel flow rate and oxygen required) are highly controlled.
