 The University of Technology Supports Sustainable Transport and Facilitates Bicycle Use on Campus

As part of its commitment to sustainable development and environmental pollution reduction, the University of Technology allows students and faculty to use bicycles as a means of transportation to and within the university campus.

This initiative reinforces the university's efforts to adopt environmentally friendly solutions and encourage its community to use sustainable modes of transport that contribute to reducing carbon emissions and improving the overall quality of life on campus.

Recently, the university hosted an event promoting the use of bicycles within the campus, with participation from the esteemed President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nuri Hamza, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, the Administrative Assistant, Professor Dr. Farhad Mohamed Othman, alongside the Hama Voluntary Team, which includes many university students.

Dr. Ameen Thanoon Ahmed, Director of the Student Activities Department, emphasized that this event aimed to achieve sustainable development goals and encourage young people to use bicycles for commuting, thereby contributing to the creation of a clean and sustainable environment, reducing pollution, and fostering a culture of volunteerism among students.
