An agreement between the University of Technology and Al-Warith University to organize joint exams for Oil and Gas Engineering students

As part of the scientific cooperation agreements between the University of Technology’s Department of Oil and Gas Engineering and Al-Warith University’s Department of Oil and Gas Engineering in Karbala, a meeting was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Fadil Sarhan Kazem, Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering at the University of Technology, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emad Abdulhussein Fakher, Head of the Oil and Gas Branch, alongside Dr. Diaa Khafif Khashan, Head of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department at Al-Warith University.

The two sides agreed to select core courses to conduct joint exams for students after reviewing the second-year curriculum for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. The selected courses are Properties and Transport of Oil and Gas and Petrophysical Engineering of Reservoirs, which will strengthen the academic standards between both institutions.
